چکیده
Salmonella sp. and Escherichia coli became contaminator bacteria that influenced the microbiological quality of beef. Environmental conditions, facilities, slaughterhouse infrastructure cause contamination. This study aimed to determine presence contamination on slaughtered beef from Binjai City Tavip Market. used a descriptive purposive sampling technique 12 samples (6 six Market). was conducted at Slaughterhouse It analyzed Cell Tissue Cultures Laboratory in University North Sumatera Faculty Medicine November 2021. Data analysis Paired Sample T-Test. The result showed absence Market sample. Furthermore, all were contaminated by coli, 5 out 6 surpassed SNI 3932:2008. concludes average differs significantly sample

Occurrence of Salmonella spp. and generic Escherichia coli on beef carcasses sampled at a brazilian slaughterhouse
A total of 120 beef carcasses were analyzed during processing at a slaughterhouse in southern Brazil. The carcasses were sampled by swab at three different steps of the slaughter line and then they were tested for Salmonella and E. coli. The Salmonella isolates were also examined for antimicrobial susceptibility. Salmonella prevalence distribution was modeled and the probability of contaminatio...
متن کاملSuper shedding of Escherichia coli O157:H7 by cattle and the impact on beef carcass contamination.
Beef carcass contamination is a direct result of pathogen transfer from cattle hides harboring organisms such as enterohemorrhagic Escherichia coli. Hide contamination occurs from direct and indirect fecal contamination in cattle production and lairage environments. In each of these environments, individual animals shedding E. coli O157:H7 at high levels (>10(4) CFU/g of feces, hereafter referr...

Identification of Escherichia coli O157: H7 from Slaughtered Beef in Mashhad Using Biochemical and Molecular Methods
Background and Aims: Escherichia coli O157:H7 is one of the main causes of transmitted diseases by food, including meat and meat products. The purpose of this study was to investigate the prevalence of E. coli O157:H7 contamination in Mashhad with the detection of rfbE gene. Materials and Methods: For this study, 148 slaughtered beef samples from Mashhad (spring to winter, 2018) were randomly ...
متن کاملInhibitory Effects of Lactobacillus salivarius and Lactobacillus crispatus Isolated from Chicken Gastrointestinal Tract on Salmonella enteritidis and Escherichia coli Growth
Probiotics are live cultures of microbes; often lactic acid bacteria, but also some other species, which when fed to animals, improve their health and growth through altering the intestinal microbial balance. In the present research, healthy chickens’ gastrointestinal (GI) tracts were screened for the presence of lactic acid bacteria with probiotic properties. The probiotic properties of the is...
